Job Summary

We are looking for Software Engineers to work within our Developer Experience (DevEx) team. The DevEx team is seeking creative and empathetic engineers who strive towards ensuring developers have the right tools, processes, and environment to maximize productivity and create the greatest business value possible. They will enable developers a consistent and manageable local development experience, as well as a consistent and robust CI/CD pipeline testing process. This role will focus heavily on re-usability of the tooling between all the development teams in the form of CLI tooling, NPM or Java packages and libraries. 

Our client pivoted towards teams using Kotlin for any net new service creation. 
Ideally, the candidate we hire has both Kotlin/java and node experience. We need this parity experience because we're building tooling using both paradigms moving forward.

Needs to have:

• Technology
  • Backend: Kotlin/Java, Node.js
  • Cloud experience (AWS preferred)
  • Kubernetes, Ambassador, Helm
  • Github Actions (or other CI experience i.e CircleCI, Jenkins, TravisCI)
  • Continuous Delivery (ArgoCD or equivalent)
  • Library or Package development experience
  • Personality: Kindness, curiosity, deep listener, empathy, strong personal project management

Nice to have:

• Technology
  • Test Driven experience (Jest, or equivalent)
  • Observability (Datadog or equivalent)
  • REST, gRPC, graphQL experience
