NK - Mobile Quality Engineer

Full Time


  • Create test plans, executing test cases, and performing manual testing
  • Leverage best practices around testing and continuous improvement
  • Complete testing on all mobile Android and iOS devices 
  • Execution of the different types of software testing
  • Development of bugs/issues reports in detail, following the best practices of SCRUM
  • Review and analysis of requirements or user stories with the Product Owner and the work team
  • Management of App Store Connect and Google Play Console to configure the iOS and Android applications releases to production
  • Act as a team player and contribute to problem solving when needed 
  • Responsive to critical issues and production outages
  • Very clear, direct and concise communication
  • Naturally explains with “what, how, why”
  • Able to adjust communication to the audience
  • Explain technical concepts in easily understandable terms to the business
  • Leads with a concise direct answer, like the definition or answers the questions directly and does not start with examples.
  • Provides supporting evidence for the definition through examples, how it works, or how to use it.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must have experience testing and debugging mobile applications on iOS and Android devices 
  • Experienced working in an Agile SCRUM environment while using JIRA 
  • Experienced using Android Studio (for Emulator testing)
  • Experienced using Xcode 
  • Experienced using Charles Proxy (logs) or any other Proxy tool 
  • Optimizely (for experiments/feature flags testing)
  • Knowledgeable with Segment (to test Analytics events)
  • Knowledgeable with New Relic (to check crashes logs)
  • Knowledgeable with Figma (for Design mockups)
  • Must have an understanding of APIs
